On April 10th will be a great concert in Juan Diego’s hometown Lima. He will sing with the Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil "Sinfonia por el Perú" conducted by Maestro Espartaco Lavalle. Juan Diego has invited a special guest: Marco Zunino.

Juan Diego Flórez will sing his first MET performances of Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore togehter with Diana Damrau (Adina) and Mariusz Kwiecien (Belcore). On March 5th and 21st you can listen to the performances live on the MET’s website.

First Presentation of the Youth Orchestra "Sinfonia por el Peru"

On January 18th 2012, Juan Diego Flórez presented the youth orchestra "Sinfonia por el Peru" in the Teatro Municipal de Lima in Peru for the first time. This orchestra aims to be an inspiration and a model for the hundreds of children that play in the orchestras of the "Sistema de Orquestas Juveniles e Infantiles del Perú".
