After the release of his much anticipated Mozart album, Juan Diego Flórez will perform a series of concerts in some of the most renowned European venues. On November 2, he will perform a concert with conductor Riccardo Minasi and Orchestra La Scintilla at the Opernhaus in Zurich, the city where the recording took place.
For the next four concerts, he will be accompanied by the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Joshua Weilerstein. On November 6 will take the stage at the Berliner Philharmonie, on November 12, he will perform at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, on November 22, at the Konzerthaus in Vienna, and on November 26, at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
On December 4, Juan Diego Flórez will offer a recital at the Teatro Sociale in Bergamo, the home town of Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti, to whom the program will be dedicated to. On December 11, he will offer a concert at the Bartók Béla National Concert Hall in Budapest and on December 16, he will take part in the annual gala "Christmas in Vienna", which will be later broadcast on TV. He will conclude the performances in 2017 with a concert on December 20 in Rome alongside conductor Antonio Pappano and the Orchestra e Coro dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.
