Werther out now on DVD
The production of Massenet’s Werther at the Opernhaus Zurich will be released soon on DVD and Blu-Ray. Juan Diego Flórez, as the tormented Werther, is joined by Anna Stéphany as Charlotte and Mélissa Petit as Sophie. The new production directed by Tatjana Gürbaca features the Philharmonia Zürich conducted by Cornelius Meister.
The DVD and Blu-ray will be released on March 2 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK. It will be released in the US and France by mid-March.
